Antelope Valley Man Admits Child Pornography and Molestation Charges

by Phil Simpson

Robert Dale Schrader, 33, from Littlerock, entered a guilty plea to federal charges of producing child pornography before United States District Judge Gary A. Feess, earlier today.

Schrader faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and may face as many as 30 years for using his phone to record incidents of incest with a three-month-old relative. Judge Feess scheduled a sentencing hearing for August 18, 2014.

Schrader began communicating with a British undercover officer in January, which prompted the investigation. Schrader provided sexually explicit images of the infant via e-mail. Authorities discovered data embedded in those images, which led to Schrader’s residence in Littlerock.

A federal search warrant executed on January 29 led to the infant's rescue. The search turned up approximately 200 images and videos of the young victim.

Child Exploitation Investigations Group, a task force based in Long Beach and spearheaded by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) ran the investigation.

The CEIG group includes the Los Angeles Police Department, the FBI, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
